Your privacy is important to us. The purpose of the privacy policy of SIA “RIR Agent” is to inform clients and other data subjects about the processing of their personal data in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council (27 April 2016) on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data.

Classification of personal data and purpose of processing
Personal data is any information about an identified or identifiable natural person: a client (including potential, former and current) of SIA “RIR Agent”, a service recipient, a guest, a website visitor, a cooperation partner, an employee or a candidate for a vacancy (all together hereinafter referred to as the data subject), including:
- Personal identification data (name, surname, date of birth and/or personal identification number),
- Contact information (phone number, email address, contact address),
- Professional experience and educational data (occupation, professional competencies),
- Personal communication and behavioral data (insights gained during telephone and electronic communication and face-to-face contact, feedback during the employee selection process),
- Information about services received or planned,
- Payment information (bank account number, etc.),
- The data subject is characterized by physical, physiological, genetic, mental, economic, cultural or social identity factors (citizenship, etc.),
- Other information that is attributable to a natural person (biometric data: face, image, car registration number, etc.) and that the person has provided at their own discretion during the communication process (marital status, etc.).
We process personal data for the following legitimate purposes:
- For the provision of services (identifying customers, preparing contracts, providing services, advertising services, distributing them, developing new services, reviewing and processing complaints),
- For business planning and analytics (statistics, market research, customer satisfaction measurements),
- For the prevention or detection of criminal transactions in connection with the protection of property and the vital interests of persons, including life and health,
- For the provision of information to state administrative institutions in the cases and to the extent specified in external regulatory enactments,
- To ensure the selection process of potential employees and establish legal employment relationships,
- For archiving documents in the cases and to the extent specified in external regulatory enactments,
- For other specific purposes, of which the client is informed at the time the relevant personal data is requested.
Legal basis for processing personal data
The legitimate interests of SIA “RIR Agent” are: to conduct commercial activities, verify the client's identity before concluding a contract, ensure the fulfillment of contractual obligations, prevent unjustified risks to its commercial activities, conduct service quality analysis and implement improvements, advertise its services, analyze the company's website and implement improvements, perform activities to retain customers and expand the customer segment, prevent fraud, administer payments, ensure effective company management processes, address state administrative and operational institutions to protect its legal interests, and inform the public about its activities.
Personal data can be accessed
Personal data may be accessed by: the Controller's employees to the extent necessary to perform their assigned work duties, personal data processors - external service providers, to perform a function necessary for the performance of a contract or delegated by law (for example, bank settlement procedure), state and local government institutions upon their justified request, as well as law enforcement institutions in cases specified in regulatory enactments.
Data subject rights
The data subject has the right to receive information specified in regulatory enactments regarding his/her personal data contained in the Controller's information systems, and to verify the accuracy of his/her data, to correct it, to supplement it, to request its deletion or cessation of processing if it is incomplete, outdated or unlawfully processed, as well as the right to data portability. The data subject may submit a request for the exercise of his/her rights:
- In written form in person at the legal address of SIA “RIR Agent”: Zeltrītu Street 20 – 5, Mārupe, Mārupe parish, Mārupe district, LV-2167, by presenting an identity document,
- Electronically, by sending an application signed with a secure electronic signature to the email address info@remesi.lv.
The data subject's request is evaluated in accordance with regulatory enactments, and the response is sent to the contact address specified by the client in accordance with the procedure and within the time limits specified in regulatory enactments. If the data subject believes that the Controller has acted unlawfully, he or she has the right to file a complaint with the State Data Inspectorate at Blaumaņa Street 11/13, Riga, LV–1011. Providing the information we request is not mandatory, but it is a prerequisite for receiving the services we provide. We do not use personal data for automated decision-making and do not perform profiling. The personal data of data subjects of SIA “RIR Agent” are not sent outside the European Union or the European Economic Area.
Data retention period
Personal data is stored as long as at least one of the following criteria exists:
- Current regulations on data storage periods (Law "On Accounting", Archives Law),
- There is a legal obligation to retain the data,
- The data subject's consent to the relevant processing of personal data is valid,
- The procedure set out in external regulatory enactments is in force, whereby the Controller or data subject may exercise their legitimate interests (for example, submit objections or bring a claim in court).
After the aforementioned circumstances cease, the personal data of the data subject are deleted or made inaccessible or unidentifiable.
Data security
The controller ensures that the personal data of the data subject are processed in accordance with the following principles:
- Lawful and fair processing of personal data,
- Data minimization or processing only to the extent necessary,
- Data accuracy,
- Data storage for no longer than necessary for the purposes of processing,
- Data security and confidentiality.
We ensure, constantly review and improve security measures to protect personal data from unauthorized access, accidental loss, disclosure or destruction. To achieve this, we apply the necessary technical and organizational requirements, including anti-virus programs and firewalls. However, we also encourage our customers to comply with general computer and Internet security regulations, as well as personal data storage requirements.
Video surveillance
The Controller carries out video surveillance and processes personal data when the data subject visits the Controller's service provision locations. Video surveillance is carried out in real time and is necessary to protect the vital interests of employees, customers, etc. data subjects, including their health and life. Video cameras are positioned in such a way as to ensure only security functions and to avoid processing personal data that is not necessary. The Controller ensures complete deletion of data if it has not been previously requested or if criminal transactions or other security breaches have not been detected.
Communication with the data subject
For communication with the data subject, we use the telephone number, email address or postal address provided by the data subject.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files that are created and stored on an Internet user's device (computer, tablet, mobile phone, etc.) when visiting a website. “Remesi” is located 30 minutes drive from the center of Riga. Access from the A9 highway, right before the “Steķi” bus stop. The recreation area can also be reached by the Riga-Kalnciems bus, the bus stop is located at the entrance to the territory.
